In this video he shows us the pronunciation of the past tense of regular verbs ending in '-ed', which depends on the sound of the last letter of the base form of the verb. If the word ends with a voiced sound, such as "played", the "-ed" ending is pronounced as a "d" sound, while if it ends with a voiceless sound, such as "walked", the "-ed" ending is pronounced as a 't' sound. The '-ed' ending is only pronounced as a separate syllable if the base word ends in 't' or 'd'.

Es un gran video que me ayudo mucho en las reglas de pronunciación de los verbos regulares ya que me ayudan a saber como pronunciar el sonido correcto independientemente de como los vea yo escritos, independientemente de la terminación ed. si el verbo termina en un sonido que las cuerdas vocales vibren como (l,m,n,v) la ed se pronuncia d con la silaba final del verbo.

The "-d" pronunciation is used for regular verbs that end in a sonorous sound, a sonorous sound is produced in the throat.
For this first case in terms of pronunciation, the "e" is not pronounced.
The "-t" pronunciation is used for regular verbs that end with a dull sound, a dull sound that is produced in the front of the mouth.
The "-ed" pronunciation is used when the final sound of a regular verb ends in "d" or "t".
